Tim Holtz inspired May Tag...

Hello Everyone, thanks for stopping by today.

I wanted to share a tag I made that was inspired by Tim Hotlz. I had so much fun making this for my BFF cause I do miss her "SEW" much.

I used a kraft tag and covered it with an old sewing pattern then I added a little printed burlap and some snaps. Then I used a Tim Holtz die cut to make the dress form and spool. I used my type writer to add the sentiment MISS YOU SEW MUCH. I added a few pieces of ribbon and lace, added a old threader that I altered with alcohol inks, then distressed the whole thing. I'm very happy how it turned out.

To the Moon...

HELLOOO, Hellooo, helloooooo

Happy Friday Everyone.
I want to share this little frame I did last night using the Hobby Baby Cardstock Bubble Frame by Globecraft Memories.

These cute little frames are so easy to work with and really your imagination is the limit on what you can do with them.

I love how the globe helps give the project the space feel. I used the To the Moon paper line from Fancy Pants and fussy cut out the spaceman. The title stickers is from K&Company...I think they work well together. I hope you enjoyed this little project as much as I enjoyed making it.

And so you can enjoy playing too, Hobby Baby is giving you a
coupon it is TS25 good for 25% off your order to GlobeCraftMemories.com website..
how FABULOUS is that?

Made with Love....

Hello AMP fans.

Today I want to share a cross that I made for my niece for her First Communion. I found this cast iron cross at the swap meet and thought it was beautiful, but it didn't look like something a young lady would want to hang in her room.

So I thought I would make a mold of it using Amazing Mold Putty,
and then make it into something a little girl would love.

After molding it I mixed the two part Amazing Casting Resin with just a drop of Alumilite Red Dye in it to turn it this great shade of pink...(one of her favorite colors.) I also brushed the mold with Alumilite Pearlescent Powder to give it a shimmery look.

After it set up. I took it out and sanded the edges a bit to make sure they where smooth.

I added some ribbons and crystals to it...I love how it turned out.

And by the look on her face I think she Loved it too.

Thanks for stopping by today to see my made with love cross. Check back often.

I found part of my heart...

Hello Everyone.
Hope you had a great day. I wanted to share a little wall art that I made to represent how part of my heart is in Iowa but the other is in California. I have only lived here for 9 months and as of right now, I don't want to leave anytime soon, (but when the Navy calls I will go.)

I hope you like it.

thanks for stopping by.

Graphic 45 Travel Box..

Hello Everyone.

Happy National Scrapbook Day/weekend for most of us. Here is a mini scrapbook box that I made with tags for my travel memories.

I found the box at the second hand store for a dollar and then had a good time covering it with Graphic 45 papers.

I made little accordion fold strips for the inside side walls to help keep the tags standing apart.

Here is a close up of one of the 5 tags.

As you can see I did the lid and the inside of the box also.

And this is all of the finished project. I hope it inspires you to think inside the box.. ;)

Thanks for stopping by today.
