Mother's Day Card....

Happy Monday Everyone.

Today I want to share with you a Mother's Day card that I made.

The little hat on the card is made with paper clay, made in a mold I made with Amazing Mold Putty. I had a small ceramic hat that hangs on one of my baskets. I made a mold with the putty and then filled it with paper clay. After it dried I painted it with Tatterred Angels Glimmer Mist, added a few flowers and some ribbon. I wanted something different then just flowers, because I always do flowers. So the hat was a nice change.

That's the hat under the molding putty....

Hope you and my Mom like it.

So I have decided that I am going to give a gift to one of my followers. All you have to do is leave a comment on this post and you will be entered to win.....

These products are by Melody Ross and I hope they inspire you to be BRAVE and share your art with the world.

Beautiful Becca....

Hello Everyone.

Happy Friday.

Today I want to share a photo frame that I did to remember my youngest daughters Senior Prom. I really like how it turned out. It is so Becca ((that is my daughter Rebecca's nickname.))
I hope you enjoy.

I started with a unfinished wooden frame and I painted it black. Then I Decoupaged this Beautiful paper from Robins Nest to it. (I cut the hole out first) I distressed everything that I put on the frame using Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads.

I took some lace trim and sewed it with a running stitch and then gathered it to make a doily to place behind the flowers. Added some buttons and pearls.

Precious Memories

Hello Everyone. Molly here to share with you one of the many wonderful things you can do with Amazing Mold Putty and Amazing Casting Resin.

I wanted to make a page about my father and wanted to add one of the old antique key he had given me, but it was just to heavy to put on a page. So in comes AMAZING MOLD PUTTY.

I mixed equal amounts of yellow and white putty until I got an uniform yellow color.

Then I placed the key into the putty and let it sit for a few minutes. Then I removed the key and let the mold sit until it was hardened.

I then filled the mold with paper clay and waited for it to dry.

Then using various paints and mica powders I tried to get it to match the original key. I think I got pretty darn close, don't you? The original is the top one.

Then I added it to my page. I LIGHT key that will always remind me of the one my father gave me.

Thanks for stopping by today, and make sure to check out http://amazingmoldputtyblogspot.com.
We have an wonderful team with lots of great ideas.

Easter Basket

Hello Everyone~~

Today I thought I share an oldie but a goodie. The paper Easter basket. These baskets and quick and easy to make. They look lovely on the table for Easter dinner or as small goodie baskets for the neighbors.

I took pictures of all the steps for you. My paper was 8x8 because that was how big my doily was. You don't have to put the doily on the outside, but I like the way it looks.

Thank you for stopping by. If you have an questions, please feel free to ask.
I hope you enjoy.

I'm Back....

Happy Tuesday Everyone.

I hope you are all doing well. You probably notice I have been gone for 9 days. I had strep throat and an upper respiratory infection. I am feeling much better today.

Today I want to share a little spinning rack that I found at the thrift store. I think it use to be a spice rack but all the jars were missing. When I spun it at the store...it spun so smoothly, I was thinking maybe I could take it apart and use the turn table under something. When I got home I started to take it apart...well I didn't get very far. I was afraid if I opened up the bottom I wouldn't be able to get it to spin as nicely again.

So I tried every jar I had to fit in the cut outs, nothing worked, if only those cut outs weren't there. **DING** cover the cut outs. I cut up a cereal box and Decoupage some paper to it. I made three shelves with sides to help hold everything on it. I filled them with some of my favorite Ranger Products, which has come in handy since I took the Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 class. (( I'll share that on another day.)) I added a little black ribbon around the edge and **walla** a spinning caddy for my desk.

I hope this inspires you to look around and put something old into use again.
Thanks for stopping by.
